		<description>The expectation that kindergartners should be able to write not just their own names but their classmates&#039; drives me nuts. To my mind it isn&#039;t developmentally appropriate.  Also it seems to me neither ECE or k-8 teachers are systematically taught how to teach handwriting.  It is more complicated that it looks.</description>
